Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE MONDOR (SKIT) March 9, 1928 - February 10, 2001 George passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2001 at the Health Sciences Centre. George Mondor was born at the St. Boniface Hospital on March 9, 1928. He was predeceased by his wife Stella (Kooch) children, Hank, Valerie, and Lorraine; parents, Edmond and Anne Mondor; and sister Evelyn. Left to mourn Georges passing are his daughters, Gail (Gordie) of Clearwater, BC, and Barbara (Jim) of Vernon, BC; sons, Guy (Janet) of Edmonton, AB, and Wayne (Faye) and grandson Dallas of Winnipeg; sisters, Yvonne (Mitt) of Edmonton, Cecile (Fred) of Vancouver Island, BC; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St., on Friday, February 16 at 2:00 p.m. A gathering of family and friends will follow at 132 Manley Ave. A private family interment will be held at St. Boniface Cemetery. Donations in Georges memory can be made to the Riverview Health Centre, 2E Ward, in lieu of flowers.
