CORINNE VINCE (nee ORSER) It is with deep sadness that Steve Vince announces the death of his dearly beloved wife Corinne on February 13, 2001 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Corinne will be deeply missed by her loving husband Steve; her son Terry; daughter Dee-Dee; granddaughter Alexa; her mother Corie Orser; sisters and brothers-in-law, Melorie (Glen), Darlene (Jack) and Linda (Jack) as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends. She was predeceased by her loving father Mel Orser on August 31, 1999. Corinne was born in Brandon, MB. on March 11, 1952. She taught kindergarten for many years in Gimli, Business Ed. in both Riverton and in Winnipeg. Corinne loved to teach. When she went from teaching high school to teaching what she called the little people, Corinne then called this the real joy of teaching. A memorial service in celebration of Corinnes life will be held on Saturday, February 24 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gimli Lutheran Church with Pastor George Johnson presiding. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and support staff for their dedicated care and compassion at Cancer Care Manitoba and also to the doctors, nurses and support staff in Gimli. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Corinnes name to the Library Fund for the New Gimli Early Years School, in care of Gimli Early Years School, Box 1170, Gimli, MB, R0C 1B0.
