STANLEY STASYNEC "The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you." Suddenly, on February 14, 2001, with his family by his side, Stanley Stasynec, dearly beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away at age 69 years. Stanley was born September 30, 1931 in Pine Ridge, Man. to John and Nettie Stasynec. In 1958 he became employed with Dominion Malting, retiring in 1997 after 39 years of service. Stanley always enjoyed a good game of golf with family and friends, and spending time with his family. Stanley leaves to mourn and cherish his memory his wife of 49 years, Lillian; daughters, Darlene (Richard) Moskwa, Donna (Raymond) Zuke, Debbie (Doug) Norman; grandchildren, Kim, Jeff, Cari, Mike, Brittni and Kayla; his brother John (Helen) sisters, Jean (Casey) Biedron, Ann Prettie and Nellie (Ed) Lehman; brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Nettie, and his brothers, Nick, Bill, Mike, Walter and Steve. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 19 at 2:30 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street with Father E. Hafichuk officiating. Interment to follow at Transcona Cemetery.
