JEANNE G. FRY Peacefully on Wednesday February 14, 2001, at St Boniface Hospital, Jeanne G. Fry passed away at the age of 90 years. Jeanne is survived by her daughter Gwenn (Alf) son Douglas; her grandchildren, Kim (Gord), Gary, David (Laurel), Adrienne (Darrell), Lisa (David), Geordon, Jason and her great-grandchildren, Amy, Kasha, Sophie; her sister Chloe; brother Jean and her dear friend Alma. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon, daughter Joanne, her parents, three sisters and two brothers. Jeanne was employed by the Federal Civil Service until her retirement in 1975. She enjoyed bowling, cooking, knitting, crocheting, sewing, gardening and many other crafts were her enjoyments, and she did them all beautifully. A service of remembrance will be held on Tuesday, February 20 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Anns Roman Catholic Church, 271 Hampton St. Interment will take place at a later date. Jeanne will be sadly missed by all. The family is very grateful for the care she received from the doctors, nurses and orderlies in Emergency, wards 5A and 5E and finally in the Palliative care ward at St Boniface Hospital; Jeanne thought they were all wonderful. Thanks also to the VON nurses and Home Care Workers - Jeanne made friends with them all.
