Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJANET BARNES (nee CONWAY) Peacefully on Friday, February 2, 2001 Janet Barnes, aged 84 years, passed away in hospital in Broadview, Sask. She was predeceased by her husband Ronnie; brother Jim and parents, William and Agnes Conway; also daughter-in-law May. She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Richard (Paula) of Sandspit, B.C., Ted (Marlene) of Broadview, Sask., daughter Judith (Jim) McLennan, Regina, Sask.; her beloved ten grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and other family members. Janet was born in Glasgow, Scotland on February 19, 1916. The family came to Canada in 1919 and made their home in Brooklands. Janet was a member of the Calvin Presbyterian Church in Winnipeg where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. She was active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Canadian Legion, Weston Branch and was a member of the Robert Burns Club of Winnipeg. A memorial service was held on February 10 at the Broadview Mission Church. If friends so desire, contributions to a charity of their choice may be in Janets memory.
