NETTIE KUZYK (nee WOJTOWYCH) With great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing after a lengthy illness on Saturday, February 17, 2001 at the Seven Oaks General Hospital of Nettie Kuzyk age 73 years, beloved wife of the late Sam Kuzyk. Nettie leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Arlene Driver; her son Darwyn; grandchildren Courtney Driver and Dylan Kuzyk. Nettie also leaves to mourn her sisters, Carrie, Rose and Marry; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Nettie was predeceased by her loving husband Sam on Wednesday, March 8, 2000, her loving young daughter-in-law Maggie in 1996, her parents, brothers Bill, John, Walter and sisters, Olga, Anne and Hellen. Nettie was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, January 4, 1928. She was a very active member of the Luther Home Seniors Club where she was the social activities coordinator. Sam and Nettie also made many friends at this club. With Sam, Nettie made it their home. They also enjoyed living with all the friendly residents, which has an extended large family atmosphere. Netties family thank you all for your kind support, help, prayers, concerns and visits. At Netties request, a Memorial Service will be held at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St., on Thursday, February 22 at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Deacon Walter Knysh officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in Netties memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Suite 102 - 310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3W 0Y9 or to the Luther Home, 1081 Andrews St., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3V 2G9.
