Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMILIE JAHNKE Emilie Jahnke passed away on Friday, February 16, 2001 in the Emerson Personal Care Home. She is survived by one brother Gerhard (Laura) Jahnke of Emerson, Man.; one sister Minnie (Alfons) Gaenswein of Winnipeg, Man., and by numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. Emilie was preceded in death by her father and mother, three brothers, four sisters, one niece and by a special aunt. Born on September 2, 1907 in Friedensthal, Man. Emilie was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, Friedensthal. She lived on the family farm until moving to Emerson in 1965. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 20 at 2:00 p.m., in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Emerson, Man. Interment will follow in the Friedensthal Cemetery. Viewing will be held at the Church prior to the service. If friends so desire, memorials may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Emerson. Arrangements entrusted to Loewen Funeral Chapel of Steinbach, 326-1351.
