Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNELL YESOWICH (KOWALCHUK) Daughter of Brokenhead Pioneers Helen Nell Yesowich passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2001, aged 94 years in Detroit Michigan. Predeceased by her husband Tom, she was the daughter of Alexander and Melenia Kowalchuk who settled at Brokenhead, MB in 1900. With her husband they together operated a successful business in the auto industry. She was always a kind, generous and energetic person who always left a positive impression on everyone. She enjoyed her garden and flowers, always keeping busy in the practical ways of doing things. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother to Thomas N. Yesowich (Therese), Betty A. Parlin (Ron, deceased) and Judith J. Sharpe (Richard). Grandmother of Karen Schmucker, Thomas M. Yesowich, Pamela Doremus and Michael and Helen Sharpe. Great grandmother of four and great great grandmother of three. She is also survived by her brother Steve Kowalchuk of Winnipeg. Visitation Wednesday, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Price Funeral Home, 3725 South Rochester Rd., Troy, Michigan 48083. Funeral Thursday, 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery.
