MADELINA MURPHY It is with great sadness that the family of Madelina (Maugdelyna) Murphy announces her passing from her life on Friday, February 16, 2001. Her last hours were spent in the loving care of her family and the compassionate care of the William A. George Extended Care Unit, Sioux Lookout, ON. Madelina was born in Buchanan, SK on December 8, 1915 to parents, Artamey (Tom) and Polly (Paracha) Drebit. She is survived by two sons, a daughter and a grandson, Daniel Murphy and his wife Lynda of Dinorwic, Agnes Murphy and her son John Smith of Winnipeg, Glen Murphy and his wife Judy of Winnipeg. She is also survived by three brothers and three sisters, Dora, Katie, William, Annie, Peter and Steve; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Her special loves were her flowers, gardening and cooking. She is lovingly remembered by her family as an excellent mother. Special thanks to all the staff at the William A. George Extended Care Unit who cared for her so tenderly for eight and one half years. Also, gratitude to Drs. Minty, Morgan and Sehgal. We are longing for the fulfilment of Jesus words at John 5:28,29, when "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." There will be no memorial service. Cremation will follow and interment will be at a later date.
