KRISTJAN MAREL (KRIS) GOODMAN Passed away at Sarnia General Hospital February 14, 2001. Born May 29, 1922 in Vestmaneyur, Iceland and came to Canada at an early age. He lived his early years in Selkirk, MB.He served in the Seaforth Regiment from 1943 to 45. He lived a few years in Winnipeg before moving to Sarnia, ON where he worked as pipe fitter and resided there until his death. He was predeceased by his parents, Kristinn and Margret Goodman; brothers, Oscar in 1941 in Hong Kong, Gudmundur (Mindy), Thorbjorn (Tubby) and a brother in infancy; a baby sister Ingibjorg three months after arriving from Iceland. To mourn his passing are sisters, Soffia Cooney, Thora (George) Walsh, Emily Barnett, Alda Hawes; sister-in-law Margaret Goodman; and many nieces and nephews, family and friends. A very special niece Cathy who spent endless hours at his bedside and held his hand as he passed away. Very special friends Alec and his son Sandy who were there each day. The family is so grateful. We thank you all so much for all your kindness to our brother. Cremation has taken place at his own request. Interment at a later date in Selkirk. God Bless You. Rest In Peace.
