Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAROLD (BIN) MOWATT Peacefully on Sunday, February 18, 2001 at the Betel Home, Selkirk, Harold Mowatt, aged 85 years of Lockport, MB. Harold leaves his beloved wife of 60 years, Ada; his daughter Donna (Raymond) Massey; grandchildren, Kevin and Kelly; sisters, Edith, Phyllis, Ruth and Alice; and his brother Edgar (Shelda). He was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Jemima Mowatt; two sisters, Jean and Clara; and his brother Herbert. Harold was born in Winnipeg on November 4, 1915 and moved to Lockport as a child. He worked at various jobs, retiring from Amsco in 1980. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and camping as well as playing pool. Harold never had a drivers license and could always be seen riding his bike, mostly to Skinners for coffee or to check on the river. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, (tonight), February 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, with Mr. Dick Downing presiding. A viewing will be held one half hour prior to the service, and cremation will follow. Special thanks to the nursing staff at the Selkirk General Hospital and the Betel Home. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
