FRANCIS (FRANK) WILLIAM TAYLOR On February 18, 2001, after a short struggle with cancer, Francis (Frank) William Taylor passed away at Riverview Centre in his 83rd year. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Nora, his father and mother, Alexander and Delina Taylor and his sister Peggy. He is survived by his son, Gordon and his daughter-in-law Colleen; his grandchildren Christy, Jana, and Kara; his four sisters Muriel, Mary (Jack), Jean, and Doris; his brother George (Phyllis) as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Frank was well known in many circles throughout Winnipeg, from his early days of delivering bread for Spiers-Burnell to his later years when he retired from Christies Biscuits after 42 years of service. Employed for about 20 years with Winnipeg Enterprises, he made many friends. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and enjoyed his years at McLure Place and his many friends there, as well as the Lunch Bunch at St. Patricks - St. Judes Church. The family would like to thank the staff on 3E at Riverview and the 5th floor staff at Victoria Hospital and family and friends who visited. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 23, at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with Rev. John Moore officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will take place in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre.
