THEODORE (TED) HALLICK It is with great sorrow that our family announces the accidental passing of Ted Hallick on February 20, 2001. Ted is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Evelyn; son Bryce (Christine) daughter Frances (Einar) grandchildren, Alana, Erin, Frances, Bryan, Shannon and Andrew. He was a favourite among his many nephews and nieces. Ted is also survived by his sisters, Della Dufour (Herbie), Laura Leonhardt (John), Phyllis Shipman (Al), Frances Emslie (Ken) and brother Adam (Sonia) loving in-laws, Anne Halick, George Gowryluk, Bob Kelnick, Mary Goodman, Charles Wright, Phyllis Hogg, Verna Gamache and Jean Kinash (Gary). He will be met in Heaven by his son Grant, his parents Adam and Katherine, brothers, John, Alf, Zig, sisters Nellie, Mary, Julie, Eleanor and nephew Kenneth. Ted was born in Winnipeg on December 1, 1921 and he was one of 14 children. He served his country in the Second World War and followed his father in stone masonry. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 24 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Clements Anglican Church with Rev. Canon Godfrey Mawejje presiding. Viewing will take place from 1:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Home. Interment to follow the service in the St. Clements Cemetery. The family wishes to extend grateful thanks to the staff at the HSC Emergency and the SICU. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the St. Clements Anglican Church, Box 1, Grp. 354, R.R. 3, Selkirk, MB R1A 2A8. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
