Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMYRON THOMAS NAPADY "MIKE" May 24, 1920 February 20, 2001 Dad passed away after a lengthy illness. He worked for C.N.R. from 1944 to 1980, retiring as lead hand from the Diesel Shop of Symington Yard. Dad is survived by his sisters, Anne (Richard) Ogle (Fernwood, MI), Ollie (Don) Hlady (Homewood, IL) sister-in-law Pauline, and his children, Ralph (Dianne), Brian (Wendy), Glen (Rosi), Ronnie (Vince) Meyers, Tom (Gloria), and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Tom and Mary; brother Michael; first wife Elsie; second wife Ruby, and his many friends at the Quest Inn. Dad was an avid fisherman, spending many years fishing at 141 Fishing Club at Bird Lake. For his efforts Dad achieved two master angler awards, but at the cost of the seat of the pants he was wearing at the time. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Boniface Hospital for the excellent care he received. A special thanks to the staff at the Quest Inn. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of your choice. Cremation has taken place as per Dads request, and a memorial service will be held on Friday, February 23 at 11:00 a.m at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL in care of arrangements - 586-8044.

my grandpa was a very nice man he had helped me out very much he was a gentle man, boy was he ever. he would treat me with love and respect. i remember him giving me his grapefruit and boy i do miss him - Posted by: Nancy (granddaughter) on: Jun 17, 2012
