Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBETTY (BETJE) MANCER Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, on Wednesday, February 21, 2001 in Kelowna, BC. Betty leaves her loving husband of 64 years Ted (Edward), her sister Anne (Cliff) Ebby and brother Claude (Faye) Newhouse. She is also survived by her children, Marilyn (John) of Winnipeg, Alan (Kathy) of Burnaby, Suzanne (Jim) of Winnipeg, Lois (Tom) of Calgary. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Janis, Gillian, Emma, Stephen, Elizabeth and Caitlin. As well, her great-grandchildren; Michael, Kevin, Phoebe, Hannah, and Amelia. Betty was born in North Kildonan and lived most of her life in West St. Paul. She had a wonderful sense of humour and was inordinately proud of her children and grandchildren. Betty was never at a loss for words, always ready for a bit of conversation, a cup of coffee, and a good laugh. A private family service will be held in Kelowna.
