R. DONALD (BILL) HART On Saturday, February 17, 2001, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Bill passed away peacefully at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his cousins, Gordon Hart (Sue) MacKenzie, Grace Colleen (Gordon) Audley and families; also Jeffrey Hart MacKenzie son of the late Don MacKenzie. Bill was born in Fortier, Manitoba and later moved to Winnipeg. He was employed for a few years with the C.N.R. and then with M.T.S until his retirement in 1989 after 38 years of service. Bill served with the Canadian Army from 1942 - 1946 in the United Kingdom, Central Mediterranean area and Continental Europe. He was a member of the West Kildonan Legion No. 30 where he spent many leisure hours with his friends. In accordance with Bills wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside ceremony will be held at a later date. Many thanks to all the fifth floor staff of St. Boniface Hospital. If friends so desire, donations may be made in his memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Road, Winnipeg, MB, R2L 1X3.
