DORIS BUSSEY Doris, passed away peacefully at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital on Thursday, February 22, 2001. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Lyle in 1992 and a brother Bob in 1980. Doris is survived by her children, Linda of Sidney, B.C., and Brian (Katie) of Long Beach, California; grandchildren, Brian and Bradley; sisters, Phyllis (Ed), Betty (Jack) brother Donald (June) sisters-in-law, Catherine Bussey, Lorna Elgar, Claire Crierie; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Vancouver, Doris moved to Winnipeg as a child, where she met Lyle in 1947 after the war. In 1963 they moved to California. Special thanks to the staff of the Sidney Intermediate Care Home, Saanich Peninsula Hospital ECU2 and Dr. Ambrose Marsh. Private family arrangements. Cremation entrusted to Hatley Memorial Gardens. Interment of the urn to take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Winnipeg, Man., at a later date. No flowers by request.
