Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEXANDER ROBB CUNNINGHAM 1915 - 2001 It is with the deepest sorrow and regret that we announce the passing of Alexander (Alex) Robb Cunningham at the Victoria General Hospital on Thursday, February 22, 2001. He was predeceased by his loving wife "Bert" Cunningham and grandson Reid McCormick. Left to mourn his passing is his wonderful daughter Deidre and her husband Bud McCormick; grandchildren, Mardi and husband Bob Hull Jr. and their children, Brandi and Blake of California, Clark and Eydis and their children, Sigrun and Bryndis of Iceland, Rita and Taylor of Florida. Alex served overseas with the Canadian Armed Forces during the Second World War. He was a past shareholder in the Franchise Division of Chicken Delight of Canada serving as its President responsible for establishing many outlets across Canada. After selling his rights in Chicken Delight, he then went on to manage Southwood Golf and Country Club where he remained until his retirement, being given a lifetime membership and made Manager Ameritus in 1981. He was active in, and received his fellowship from The Society of Club Managers of which he was President in 1973. Known to all as a gentle and caring person, he readily made friends with whomever he met, regardless of age. The devotion and love he shared with his wife and family, enriched the lives of all who knew him. He will be sadly missed by those whose lives he touched. The family would like to thank the I.C.U. Staff at the Victoria General Hospital for care given to Alex. Cremation has taken place with Niche Interment in Glen Lawn Memorial gardens, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. There will be a private family service as requested.
