NATHAN DOBBS Nathan Dobbs passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 25, 2001 at Seven Oaks Hospital, at the age of 85. He was born and raised in Winnipeg. Nate served in the Airforce in the Second World War, after which he trained and worked as a metrologist for the government for over 25 years. After retirement, Nate became a licenced HAM Radio Operator with the Winnipeg Senior Citizens Radio Club. He was known to all for his kindness and generosity. Nathan leaves to mourn his loving wife Rebecca of 45 years, his son Mark, and daughters Marilyn and Judy (Edelle). He also leaves his brothers Ted and wife Evelyn, Bill and wife Betty, and sister Rae and husband Bernie, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank our relatives and friends, the staff of the Seven Oaks Hospital and the Rosh Pina Synagogue for their support at this difficult time. Donations may be made to the Rosh Pina Synagogue or the Heart and Stroke Foundation in his memory.
