WALTER (SONNY) SENICKI On Saturday, February 24, 2001, Sonny Senicki passed away. Sonny was born in Winnipeg on July 26, 1936. As a young man he was active in sports, excelling in skiing and swimming. He worked alongside his father in the construction business for many years building homes in the Winnipeg area. He then owned and operated a motel on the east side of the city. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid sport fisherman, which brought him a great deal of pleasure during his lifetime. He is survived by his very close friend and companion Anne Carriere; daughter Lisa and husband Gary Lys of Brandon, MB; daughter Donna Senicki of Brandon; brother Eugene Senicki and wife Lois of Calgary, AB; niece Laura; and nephew Mark of Calgary. He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Leona. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
