Margaret was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years Fletcher in 1992. She will be greatly missed by her son Lorne, wife Linda and grandsons Sean and Kyle; daughter Lois; sister Betty and nieces and nephews. Margaret was always a very active person. She participated in bicycle races from Winnipeg to Winnipeg Beach in the 30s, was involved in a roller-skating dance club in the 30s and 40s, more recently the Eager Beavers fitness club, Good Neighbours seniors club and activities like bingo with her good friends at Edgewood Estates. When she moved to Winnipeg she worked as a maid and housekeeper for a few families and then at Eatons. She also worked for many of Winnipegs binderies. During the Second World War she worked at McDonald Aircraft building warplanes. Her greatest joy was with her family, many summers spent camping at Falcon Lake and trips east, west and down south. She was a very dedicated wife being at her husbands side during his last few years while he suffered from Alzheimers. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and all the other staff at Concordia Hospital who treated Margaret with so much care and dignity.
