GRZEGORZ (GREG) GASIOREK January 31, 1954 - February 25, 2001 With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Greg Gasiorek on February 25, 2001, after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his mother Helena; father Stanislaw; father-in-law Mieczyslaw; sister-in-law Barbara and brother-in-law Stanislaw. Gregs memory will be loved, cherished and remembered by his wife of 26 years, Eva Gasiorek; his daughter Julia; son Victor and son David with girlfriend Karina. He will also be missed by his two brothers, Andrzej and Waldemar with their wives; sister-in-law Krystyna; mother-in-law Henryka and brother-in-law Antoni and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Greg was working in Transcona-Springfield School Division #12. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to friends from Ecole Regent Park, CUPE Local 3465 and the Board of Trustees. Special thanks to Dr. Daeminck and Dr. Crow and the great staff from 8th floor Palliative Care at the St. Boniface Hospital for their care and kindness to Greg. Greg was a true people person, he instilled the importance of close family ties to his children. He was a kind, compassionate gentleman and his family meant the world to him. "Words cannot express how much you will be missed, Greg." In accordance with Gregs wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. You never asked for favors, Yet you did them everyday. You never asked for help, And yet you gave so much away. You never asked for gratitude, And yet our whole life through, Well always be so grateful, Just to have had your love and you. Love, Your family.
