ANNE CAROLINE RIVERS May 1, 1906 - February 26, 2001 Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Monday, February 26, 2001, Anne Rivers, aged 94 years, passed away at Park Manor Personal Care Home. Auntie Anne is survived by her nieces and nephews, Pat (Ben) Paul, Brian (Linda) Rivers, Leonard (Valerie) Rivers, Barbara (Glenn) Spurr, Lawrence and Romeo Rivers, Arlene, Richard and Bill Rivers; also great-nephews and nieces, Angela Boone, Jason, Robert, Sharon, and Travis Paul, Jacqueline Ritchot, Darren Rivers, Daniel and David Spurr; and other relatives. She was predeceased by sister Phyllis; brothers, Edward, John, Leonard and Merlyn; and a nephew Robert Rivers. Auntie Anne was born in Pine Ridge, MB, and lived all of her adult life in the North End in Winnipeg. She worked at Canada Packers for many years and loved family gatherings with her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed travelling and visiting relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank all the staff at Park Manor Nursing Home for their care and compassion. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 2 at 1:00 p.m., with viewing at 12:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with Rev. Fr. Ed Kosa, O.M.I. officiating.
