Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERT (BERT) GEORGE PITMAN Peacefully, at the West Park Manor on Friday, February 23, 2001, Albert Pitman passed away at the age of 98 years. Albert is survived by his five children, Beatrice (Ben), Margaret (John), Albert, Harold (Angie), Elsie (Steve) 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his brother Harold Pitman of England; stepsister Vera; stepbrother Percy; and many nieces and nephews. Albert was predeceased by his wife Elsie (1984), son Percy (1955), his parents, and his brother Arthur. Albert was born and raised in England and immigrated to Canada in 1926. He was a self-employed market gardener and lived in Charleswood for over 60 years. The family wishes to thank the staff of West Park Manor for their excellent care and patience throughout the past 19 years. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
