Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROLAND BERTRAND ST.MARS January 1, 1941 - February 27, 2001 After a courageous battle with cancer, Roland Bertrand St.Mars passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2001. Roland will be lovingly remembered by his spouse Rochelle; daughters, Nicole (Wayne Flewelling) and Colette (Shane Mahoney), both of British Columbia; brother Paul (Sheila) father-in-law Herman Prefontaine; sister-in-law Ilene (Russell Holmes) brothers-in-law, Gilles (Doreen), Camille (Barbara), Claude (Francine), Marcel (Louise) many nephews and nieces as well as his best friends, Eugene and Michelle Prieur. Rolly lived all his life in Manitoba. He loved meeting family and friends for coffee at Tims, playing cards, listening to music and watching hockey, especially "Les Canadiens." Rolly was looking forward to soon becoming a Pepere for "Peanut" but can now be one in Heaven, taking care of his granddaughter Brooke. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 2 at 3:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St., St. Boniface. The family would like to express a special thanks to Father Roland Lanoie for his pastoral care. Additional thank yous to his homecare V.O.N. Marlene, his oncology doctors and the staff of Riverview Health Centre for their compassionate care during Rollys last days.
