Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGIUSEPPE RONDINONE 1940 - 2001 Peacefully on February 28, 2001, at the Health Sciences Centre, Giuseppe Rondinone passed away surrounded by his loved ones. He was predeceased by his parents Pietro and Maria Antonia, brother Antonio and sister Giuseppina. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his loving wife Rosa; daughters, Maria and Antonietta; sisters, Lucia Nardiello (Salvatore), Rosa Frattolillo (Rafaele), Maria Vasselli (Mario), Pompea Tummillo (Franco) brother Gerardo Rondinone (Incoronata) and two grandchildren, Marcella and Cassandra. He will also be greatly missed by his partner and brother-in-law Carmine Patella (Josie), Luciano Viselli (Grazia), Gerardo Lisanti (Maria), as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends here and in Italy. Giuseppe was born on January 15, 1940, in Muro, Lucano, Italy where he met his dear wife Rosa. He immigrated to Canada in 1958 where he married and had two children. Giuseppe was a proud owner of Colosseo Restaurant for 28 years. He worked very hard and was very proud of his achievements. He was loved by his customers and employees, and he took much pleasure in having a good meal and spending time with his friends and family. Prayers will be said on Friday, March 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 3 at 10:00 a.m., also at the Holy Rosary Church, with Father Sam Argenziano presiding. Entombment will take place in the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley St. Pallbearers will be Tony Signore, Mike DAndrea, Carmine Coppola, Orlando Pepe, Agostino Fiorentino and Giuseppe Tummillo. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre Emergency and the D-4 ward for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, Man., R3C 2B7. Dad, you have been our inspiration, our guidance, the soul of our family.
