Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFRED ALLAN BAPTISTE Suddenly on Tuesday, February 27, 2001 at the Health Sciences Centre, Fred Allan Baptiste of Berens River passed away at the age of 82 years. Fred was born in Berens River on March 25, 1918, spending most of his life in Berens River. He was a Band Constable for Berens River retiring in 1974. He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory daughters, Judy (Hans), Ida (Emery), Marlene, Grace (Herb), Phyllis, and Andrea (Bob) sons, Raymond, Randy, Marvin and Perry; step son Robert; step daughters Sarah (Eugene) and Rose (William) special niece Betty; special nephews, Clifford and Frances. There are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Fred was predeceased by his wife Bertha; parents, Alec and Elizabeth; step father Joe Clyne; daughter Emma; son Charles; step children, Jacob and Walter; brothers, Douglas in 1964 and Roderick in 1994; sisters, Margaret Jane Swain and Mary Ann Ross. Prayers were said on Wednesday, February 28 at 7:00 p.m., at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg. Wake services will be held on Thursday, March 1 and Friday March 2 at Berens River. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 3 at 2:00 p.m., at the Revival and Restoration Church, Berens River Manitoba with Rev. Oliver Everette officiating.
