Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA MARINAS CATBAGAN Maria, our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, entered rest peacefully with all her family at her bedside after a courageous battle with diabetes and pneumonia at the Seven Oaks General Hospital on Wednesday, February 28, 2001. Marias memory will be cherished by her only daughter Lourdes; son Rodolfo (Zennie) grandsons, Rodney and Robbie; great-grandson Kail Resin; her sister Margarita; brothers, Felix and Matias and many nieces, nephews back in The Philippines, California, Texas, and many dear friends here in Winnipeg. Maria was predeceased by her husband Benedicto; son Rogelio; parents, Eldefonzo and Isabela; brothers, Domingo, Quirino, Ansilmo, Alfredo, and sister Leona. Maria was born and raised in Pozorrubio Pangasinan, The Philippines. She came to Canada in 1973 to be with her family. Maria worked for Nygard International for eight years, from 1974 to 1982, until she retired. Lamay will be held on Saturday, March 3 and Sunday, March 4 (prayers at 8:00 p.m.) from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight both nights at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 250 Burrin Ave. at Aikins St., Rev. Fr. Terance P. McGrath presiding. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. KNYSH FUNERAL CHAPEL 582-0973
