JOAN JACQUES Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Tuesday, February 27, 2001 at Riverview Health Centre. Joan will be missed by her beloved husband of 57 years, Leo; also by her son Martin (Helen) daughters, Cheryll Wehrle (Bill), Jennifer Gyles (Geoff) and her grandchildren, Kirsten, Matthew , Adam, Sarah, Collin, Jason and Lindsay. She will also be missed by her many friends and relatives and by her sister Kath Stock and family in Wales. Memorial service will be held on Monday, March 5 at 2:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. Our family would like to thank Dr. Scott Young for his care and support, and the staff on 3E Riverview for their compassion and commitment.
