LILLIAN EVA WINONA CHARTRAND (nee FORBISTER) Born January 15, 1916. Died February 25, 2001. Lundar, MB. Predeceased by late husband Clarence Chartrand; mother Isabella Bjornson; father Sam Forbister; brothers, Tache Forbister, Mervyn Forbister, Walter Gibson, Elmer Gibson; sisters, Dolly Grimolfson and Daisy. Nona leaves to mourn her children, Diana Gordon, Geraldine Smith, Theodore Moller, Lance and (Corinne) Chartrand; a loving sister Gertie Grimolfson; and brother-in-law Oli Grimolfson; sister-in-law Margaret Forbister (Tache) also 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many friends. Nona had many interests in life including playing the violin and drums. She loved gardening, crocheting, and cooking. Children were always nearest to her heart. Nona will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Burnside and the staff of 3 West, 7 South, and 7 North, for their loving care. Memorial service to be held in Kamloops Funeral Home, March 2 at 2:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held in Manitoba at a later date.
