PETER F. HARDER Beloved husband and father, after a courageous battle with cancer , passed away March 1, 2001. Eldest son of Peter K. and Augusta Harder. Peter was born in Manitoba. The family lived and farmed near Lorette, MB before moving to Winnipeg. Peter leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory, his wife Florence of more than 50 years; his sons, Gregory (Heather) and David of Winnipeg, Donald of Victoria, B.C. Also his grandchildren, Julie Williams and Scott Harder of Winnipeg, Carson (Shelley), Cody and Hilary Harder of Victoria, BC. His brothers, Henry and Tony of Winnipeg, Kenny and Herman of Beamsville; sisters, Mardie Klassen of Steinbach, Toots (Harry) Enns of Morden, Johanna Harder of Winnipeg, Rosella (Tom) Fitzsimmon of Lowlands, Ontario, also many nieces and nephews, especially Herman "Hermie" Reimer, who was very special to him. Predeceased by his parents; sons, Gordon 1985, Douglas 1988, Kurt 2000. Peter owned and operated the St. Boniface Bag Co. from 1952 until 2000. Cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, March 3 at 2:00 p.m. in the P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion St. Flowers gratefully declined.
