LOUISE GOULD (DAGDICK) Suddenly, on Thursday, March 1, 2001, Louise Gould, age 86 years, passed away at her residence. She was predeceased by her loving husband James in 1978; her parents, George and Nazera and several siblings. Louise leaves to mourn, her three daughters, Joyce (George) Bailey, Edna (Archie) McDonald and Bonnie (Garry) Grace; 13 grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one sister Cecelia Majdell; two brothers, John and Arthur; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was born and raised in North Point Douglas where she attended Immaculate Conception School and Parish. She was a long time summer resident of Grand Marais where family and friends were always welcome. She spent many hours tending to her plants and flowers, which were her pride and joy. She was a 20 years member at Bleak House, where she enjoyed meeting new friends, learning new crafts, especially ceramics. The family wishes to thank Dr. Schroeder for his many years of gentle caring and patience, also the attending officers of the Fire and Police Department. Prayers will be held on Monday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with viewing from 6:00 to 7:00 prior to prayers. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 6 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Peters Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St., with Msgr. Maurice Comeault, P.H.,V.F. officiating.
