JAMES (JIMMY) SMYTHE

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES (JIMMY) SMYTHE Peacefully at home in White Rock, BC, on November 30, 2000, beloved husband of Helen Smythe, passed away at the age of 79 years. He was predeceased by his sisters, Molly Jones and Frances Kenny; brothers, Eneas and John Smythe. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Helen; daughter Tricia (Fred) Minasky; two grandchildren, Shayna and Cory of Richmond, BC; also sister-in-law Margeruite Smythe of Winnipeg; and many nieces and nephews. Jim was born in Winnipeg March 24, 1921. He served with the R.C.A.F. in the Second World War. He was employed with the T. Eaton Co. in Radio and TV Department for many years. The family moved to Richmond, BC in 1967 where he was employed with Vancouver Childrens Hospital as Stationary Engineer, latterly residing in White Rock. Jimmy is sadly missed by his family and friends for his Irish wit and jovial nature.
