IDA PAYMENT 1947 - 2001 Peacefully, on March 2, 2001, in the Riverview Health Centre, Ida passed away at the age of 53 years. She was predeceased by her mother and father. Ida leaves to mourn her passing her daughter Stephanie and son-in-law Michael; two brothers, Leo and Hubert (Lynda). Also left to mourn are other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 5 at 2:00 p.m. from Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 East at Green Acres Lane. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff on 3 East at Riverview Health Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, Man., R2L 1X3. I am not sure what made me think of Ida, but I googled her name and her obituary came up. I am so sad to hear Ida died at such a young age. Ida hired me at Orientique gift shop. When I first saw Ida she was working at Ben Moss and 10 years my senior. But I was smitten. I kept asking her out. And she reminded me of our age difference. Finally she said yes. For 10 years I had a daughter Stephanie and a partner who loved music and me. Although we went separate ways, I know we loved each other for ever. See you again. And hope to see Stephanie.
