EDNA ELIDA SHANE On March 1, 2001, Edna Shane passed away at the Riverview Health Centre. She was born July 29, 1918 at Sandridge, Manitoba to Charles and Judith Sundin but had lived in Winnipeg most of her life. Edna was predeceased by her husband Nicholas (Mickey) Shane in 1984. She is survived by her brother Helmer Sundin and sister Doris Knapp. In keeping with Ednas wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at a later date at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family wish to thank the medical staff and Palliative care workers at Riverview for their kindness and compassion during Ednas final four months in their devoted care. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donation in her memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
