GABRIEL GUIMOND 1912 - 2001 With great sorrow, and peacefully, we announce the passing of our father, Gabriel Guimond, on February 28, 2001 at the age of 89 years. He was predeceased by his wife Ruth; daughter Deanna; son Berle and in infancy Leanna and Carl; grandson Joseph; brother George; sisters, Mary-Ann and Mary-Jane. He leaves to cherish his memory daughters, Darlene, Donna, Elma and son Wayne (Janet) 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. A prayer service will be held on Saturday, March 3 and Sunday, March 4 at 7:00 p.m. at Blessing Community Church, 621 College Avenue. Prayers will be said on Monday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 6 at 11:00 a.m., also at the Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Lloyd Guimond officiating. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery. The family would like to thank all the staff at Concordia Hospital, Dr. Kuegle and home care staff for all their dedication and support throughout our difficult time.
