Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLEN FULLER NICHOL Glen Fuller Nichol, who was born in North Dakota, U.S.A. in 1904, passed away peacefully at home in Victoria on March 3, 2001. Predeceased by his infant Donna in 1933; son Barrie (bp) in 1988; grandson Kevin in 1989 and wife of 64 years, Avis in 1996. He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Robert (Mary) and Donald (Liz) daughter Deanna (Barry) Robb; daughter-in-law Ellie; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Glen grew up in Southern Saskatchewan and Innisfail, Alta., lived in several cities in Western Canada where he made many good friends and moved to Victoria in 1968. Glen had many interests in life including bridge and golf which he played at the Royal Colwood and Cedar Hill Golf Clubs; he loved music especially jazz and was a voracious reader. People who knew him always said he was a gentleman and he had a great sense of humour. Thank you to the staff from the Cubbon Day Care Centre, the Juan de Fuca (Nisika), Bayshore and Alpha Home Support Services for their kindness towards Dad. Service of Remembrance will be held at the GARDEN CHAPEL in ROYAL OAK BURIAL PARK, 4673 Falaise Drive on Thursday, March 8 at 1:00 p.m. Friends who wish may make donations to the Cubbon Adult Day Care Centre, 1035 North Park St., Victoria, B.C., V8T 5A1 or the charity of ones choice.
