Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDITH GREEN (COOK) November 29, 1918 - February 28, 2001 Edith Green passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Oakview Place Extendicare Home on Wednesday, February 28, 2001. She was predeceased by her parents, Melina and William Cook; sisters, Ivy and Ethel; brother Ernie; and by her husband Con. She will be remembered by her sisters, Leona Gibbons, Doris Poole; and brother Bill Cook of Winnipeg; sisters, Lil (Cliff) Leach of Calgary, Lorraine (John) Millman of Ottawa; and brother Jim (Doreen) Cook of Edmonton; as well as many nieces and nephews. Edith lived most of her adult life in Winnipeg where she worked and retired from The Canadian Wheat Board. In her younger years she loved to travel and enjoyed the special family get-togethers. Special thanks to the staff at the Oakview Place Extendicare Home for all the help, care and compassion shown to our sister. A private family graveside service was held at Assumption Cemetery on March 6. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
