Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAGNES MARGARET DUNCAN (nee HUTTON) August 27, 1913 - March 5, 2001 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and sister at Victoria Hospital. Her memory will be cherished by daughters, Barbara (Bill) Baluk, Mary (Fredrick) Grimwood; grandchildren, Marli, Jenelle, Kimberly and Gary; sisters, May McRae, Nell English and numerous nieces and nephews. Agnes was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1990. Agnes was born in Clanwilliam, Man. and spent her youth on the farm. She was a warm, kind and generous person who touched many lives in a way never to be forgotten. Her strength and courage is the example we, her family, will draw upon to help us through the great loss we must now face without her gentle hand to guide us. Agnes took particular delight in many sports, participating in curling in her younger years. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Victoria General Hospital who cared for Mom with kindness and compassion. A special thank you to all the Home Care workers who allowed Mom to remain at home these last several years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). To a good life came a peaceful end She died as she lived, everyones friend, Upright and just in all her ways, Loving and kind to the end of her days. We saw her suffer, heard her sigh, We could do nothing but sit close by. We have lost, but heaven has gained, One of the best the world contained.
