REYNALDO (REY) ASCUNCION MOGATAS In loving memory of Reynaldo A. Mogatas. It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved son, husband, brother, uncle, godfather and friend, at the age of 39 years, died peacefully in his sleep, after a long battle with cancer, at the Health Sciences Centre on March 3, 2001. Rey will be missed for his sense of humour, cooking, expertise, passion for fishing, and the love of outdoors with his family and friends. He has touched the lives of many nieces and nephews, by taking care of them like they were his own. Most of all, his caring nature, love of life and family, will be truly missed. He gave himself wholeheartedly in everything he did and faced all the challenges in his life head on. He was an active member of Luneaw, CFC, and Servants of the Lord, where he fulfilled his faith of the Lord. He left us to mourn alongside with his most loving, devoted, faithful wife of 17 years of marriage, Miriam G. Mogatas, and his children, Rheymir and Reynalyn, who he was a loving father to. He will also be lovingly remembered by his parents, Camilo and Christina Mogatas; his brothers and their families; Camilo Jr. and Ola and children; Gerald, Grace, Aster, Venus (Philippines) Audi and children; Mary Jean, Maricar, Michelle, Manuela, Maribel, Maggie, Audie Jr.; Mary Jean and Peter Reyes and children; Christopher M. Reyes; Henry and Lourdes and children; Henry Jr., Kimberly; Jorge and Gigi and children; Alexandra; Freddie and Merlyn and children; Michael, Diana, Harry; Gary and Summer and son Beau; his relatives all around the world, in-laws, and last his friends, who have been there for him throughout the years. Deepest thanks from our whole family go out to the whole medical staff at St. Boniface Hospital and Health Sciences Centre for giving Rey the utmost care during a very difficult time in his life. Viewing (Lamay) will be held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 9, 10, and 11, from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight) at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Funeral mass will be held at St. Patricks Catholic Church, 168 Worth St., on March 14 at 10:00 a.m., with Fr. Monforton, O.M.I. officiating. Interment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will be held in the funeral home. Pallbearers will be June Corpuz, Rodrigo Bermisa, Bert Ramos, Roy Fajardo, Alberto Manuel and Allan De la Cruz. You have made your long journey home, may you be at peace wherever you are until we meet again. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. 982-755
