GERARD (ULRIC) ROUGEAU January 2, 1932 - March 5, 2001 Our parents are united now. Our father joined mother this March 5, 2001. His three year walk towards their reunion in the heavens was gentle and kind. Jerry was a family man, strong and silent, a musician and a painter. We were his children, cherished by his strong determination to provide what he did not have as a child. He grew to become a fine musician with an uncanny ear for the piano, organ and accordion. He was a fine craftsman who lovingly restored antique pieces of furniture for both his family and a great many acquaintances. He was a painter by trade, and a very fine one. We remember lazy Sunday dinners around the family piano. His music is silenced now but we are at peace knowing there is a place for him in the heavens alongside his loving wife, Menota Amanda Gauthier (deceased February 23, 1998), grandson Jeremy Rougeau, and parents Louis and Anna Rougeau. His Celebration of Life will be held at Holy Cross Church, 252 Dubuc St., on Friday, March 9 at 11:00 a.m., and with all his children, Gisele (Bryon) Reynolds, Ron, Doreen (Tom) Mackie, Marc (Trudy), Brian (Christine) and grandchildren, Alexis, Ryan, Kayla, Gerard, Scott, Brett, Sarah and Marina; his sister Anne Marie Clarke (Tom) and his brother Roland (Margaret) many nieces and nephews, friends and co-workers of 28 years at Misericordia General Hospital. Please join us.
