CRYSTAL LOIS TRIGGS (nee KOVICH) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Crystal Lois Triggs, on March 3, 2001. She was predeceased by a sister Dalene in 1968 and grandmother Rose Marie Larocque. Left to mourn and cherish her memory are: Howie, special friend Ian; son Terry (Heather), grandson Brandon; parents, Bill and Edna Kovich; sisters, Sherry (Gordie) Running, Leanne, Chantel, Gordie; Cheryl (Jim) Bartley, Brandy, James, Johnny; brothers, Dwayne (Tara), Lance, Breanne; Grant (Tammy), Richard, Candace and Tyler. Also left to mourn are many aunts and uncles and cousins and friends. Crystal was born at Fisher Branch, MB July 10, 1965. She spent most of her life in Selkirk, Treherne and Winnipeg. During her working career, she worked as a cook in fishing and hunting camps in northern Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Her caring personality and love for the elderly was put to good use when she worked with home care and seniors complexes. Crystal was a kind and loving person. She loved all animals and wildlife. She will be missed by all her pets, but especially Bandit, Bear, and Blackie. Some of her favourite times were spent fishing and playing bingo. She also enjoyed reading, gardening and tending her many plants and flowers. To Those I Love and Those Who Loved Me When I am gone, release me, let me go ... I have so many things to see and do You mustnt tie yourself to me with tears; Be happy that we had so many years. I gave to you my love, you can only guess How much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown, But now its time I travelled on alone. So grieve a while for me if grieve you must; Then let your grief be comforted by trust. Its only for a while that we must part, So bless the memories within your heart. I wont be far away, for life goes on; So if you need me, call and I will come, Though you cant see me or touch me, Ill be near And if you listen with your heart, youll hear All of my love around you soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone, Ill greet you with a smile and say, "Welcome home." Author unknown. Memorial services will be held on Saturday March 10 at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Highway. Flowers are gratefully declined and donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Road, Winnipeg MB R2L 1X3. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
