Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN FEHR 1938 - 2001 Suddenly on Tuesday, March 6, 2001 John Fehr of Winnipeg, Man. Beloved husband of Nettie (Neta) and father of John Jr. and wife Cecile, Ernie and wife Pearl, Carol, Frank and wife Tracey, Irene and husband J.P. Morgan and Jerry; also cherished grandfather of 15 grandchildren. John was born in Haskett, Man., April 10, 1938. He received his education there and later moved to Winnipeg with his bride Nettie. They lived in Roland and Morden before moving to Kelowna, B.C. where they lived for eight years, at which time they moved back to Winnipeg where they lived until Johns passing. John spent most of his working life working in fine wood construction with kitchen cabinets and millwork, etc. He was well known and respected in the cabinet industry across Western Canada for his quality workmanship, with customer satisfaction at the top of his list. John enjoyed his grandchildren, often kidding around with them and whoever else was close by. he enjoyed a challenge, repairing the unrepairable and doing any task supposed unreachable. John enjoyed being involved with each church he attended. He was generous with his time of giving to the church whether with his hands or with the fruit of his labour. John was predeceased by his parents; one brother and one grandson. He also leaves to cherish his memory, six brothers and five sisters and their families. An evening service in memory of John will be held on Friday, March 9 at 7:00 p.m. in the Evangelical Free Church, 920 Cottonwood Road, Winnipeg with the viewing one hour prior. The funeral service will follow on Saturday, March 10 at 2:00 p.m. in the E.M.M. Church, 610 First Street, Morden, Man. with viewing one hour prior with Pastors, Ron Koleba and Rick Neufeld officiating. Interment will follow in the Southside cemetery, Morden, Man. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made to the Sids Foundation, The Gideons, or the Building Fund at the respective churches. Envelopes will be provided.
