GRACE (ELEANOR) AUDETTE (nee COLLINS) Suddenly on Tuesday, March 6, 2001, with her family by her side, Grace passed away at Deer Lodge Centre. Grace was predeceased by her loving husband Omer (Shorty) and cherished son Lawrie. She is survived by her brother William (Gertrude) and her daughters, Bea (Lawrence), Doreen and Joan (Mike). As well, she is survived by her grandchildren, Calvin, Barbara, Judy (Ken), Darren, Ryan; several cousins, nieces and nephews and many good friends. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 9 at the Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church, 425 Rousseau Ave. E., in Transcona, with Father Lucien Roy presiding. Interment will follow at the Transcona Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. The family would like to thank the 2nd and 4th Floor at Grace Hospital and the 2nd Floor West of Deer Lodge Centre for their kindness and exceptional compassion during this difficult time.
