ELLEN MAY FINDLAY On Sunday, March 4, 2001 Ellen May (Sanders) Findlay passed away in her 83rd year at Swan Lake Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Wesley A. Findlay in April 1990. Ellen was born in Snowflake December 21, 1918. She lived in the Snowflake community all her life. She was known for her lovely flower gardens and her kindness to birds and animals. She will be greatly missed by her two sons, John (Carol) Pinawa, MB, Philip (Kim) Stonewall, MB and her two grandchildren, Tatum, Brandon, MB and Tyler, Regina, SK, as well as her six siblings, Pat Robertson, Snowflake, Joan Taylor, Pilot Mound, MB, Lloyd Sanders, London, ON, Mary Derksen, Estevan, ON, Frances Greenshields, Scottsdale, AZ, and Madge Robinson, Manitou, MB. She was predeceased by her mother Ellen Frances Sanders in 1951 and her father John Sanders in 1967. The interment will take place at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10 at the Snowflake Cemetery and a memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in La Riviere United Church. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Bruneau and all the staff of the Swan Lake Hospital for their caring compassion during the last 11 days.
