CAROL TYSOSKI Peacefully with her children at her side, we announce the passing of our mom Carol Tysoski at the Bethesda Personal Care Home in Steinbach on Monday, March 5, 2001. Mom was born in Korcubince, Austria on January 15, 1912, and immigrated to Canada in 1924 with her parents and siblings. She married our dad Benjamin Tysoski on November 8, 1929, and together they settled in the village of Sandilands, MB. Here they set up their home and raised a family of nine children. Mom spent many hours in her hobbies: cooking, embroidering and gardening. She was able to continue doing these activities into her much later years. In her passing Mom leaves to mourn her eight children, Frank (Anne), Mary, Tony, Olga, Evelyn, Janet Moen (Leon), Borden, and Sonia Stelmack (Bill) 11 grandchildren, Diane, Dennis, Brian, Joanne, Sharon, Joey, Jeffrey, Valerie, Kevin, Gregory and Curtis; 13 great-grandchildren, Candace, Ryan, Crystal, Stephanie, Jennifer, Trevor, Nicolas, Amber, Anna, Sydney, Amanda, Michael and Daniel, their spouses; a great-great-grandson Taylor, and also many nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her husband Benjamin; son Russell; three sons-in-law, Joseph, Peter and Frank and recently her sister Mary Premus in December, 2000. Prayers will be said at Loewen Funeral Chapel Steinbach, MB on Friday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m. with funeral service on Saturday, March 10 at 10:30 a.m. also at the chapel with Fr. Ihor Royik and Rev. Deacon Leon Twerdun officiating. Interment will follow at Zhoda Community Cemetery, Zhoda, MB. Rest in Peace Mom we love you and will miss you dearly.
