JOHN RHYMER Peacefully on Friday, March 9, 2001, John Rhymer passed away at the Victoria General Hospital. He was predeceased by his wife Mary; one brother Jacob and two sisters, Leina Dittmar and Chryssie Glowatsky. He leaves to mourn his passing his sisters, Helen Beith, Mary Wylie and Rose Ursel; brother Bill and numerous nieces and nephews. John was baptized as one of Jehovahs Witnesses in 1938. He married Mary Sulkers on May 26, 1950. Later that year they pioneered together as a couple. In 1953 they both completed the Bible School of Gilead training. Mary and John found great happiness working as missionaries in Quebec for 23 years. John will be missed, not only by family, but also by many spiritual children. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall Centre, 227 Lakewood Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Assembly Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 227 Lakewood Blvd., Winnipeg, Man., R2J 2N2.
