MILDRED JEAN MORRIS (NEE HARRISON) 1920 - 2001 It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of Mildred on Wednesday, March 07, 2001, at the Maples Personal Care Home, aged 80 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Ida Harrison; husband Jim; brothers, Morris, Nelson, Ken, and sister Adelene. Mildred was born on August 13, 1920 and was employed at the C.N.I.B. for 38 years. She loved to play the piano and entertain all family and friends, a talent that came naturally to her. She was a very gracious and gentle lady. We will miss you. God looked around His garden And found an empty space, He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face, He put His arms around you And lifted you to rest, Gods garden must be beautiful. REST IN PEACE "MAMIE" A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 12, 2001 at 10:00 a.m in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley Street. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Mildreds memory to Canadian National Institute for the Blind, Manitoba Division, 1080 Portage Avenue, R3G 3M3.
