JOHN A. NOBLE John passed away at the age of 90 years at Misericordia Place on Saturday, March 10, 2001. He was happily married for 66 years to Nora his wife until her passing in October, 2000. John is survived by daughter and son-in-law Margaret and Tom Richardson; grandchildren, Patricia, Tim and Genevieve; sister-in-law Jean Noble. He was predeceased by his brothers, Charles, James and Edward. John was employed at the Manitoba Telephone System for 40 years, retiring in 1970. He enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren, supporting them in all of their activities. John was one of the first members of the South Family Y Senior Participaction Group where he swam many laps; a golfer at the Winnipeg Canoe Club and an avid vegetable gardener. John enjoyed family gatherings at the Victoria Beach cottage. The family would like to thank the very supportive staff at Misericordia Place for their loving care over the past year. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 16, 3:00 p.m. at Churchill Park United Church. If friends so desire donations may be made to South Family YMYW or Misericordia Place.
