VIVIAN PERKINSON (nee DANEY) At the age of 98, Vivian has received her well deserved peace and rest with her family by her side to wish her a safe journey. Vivian was predeceased by her son Jack, her daughter June, sister Alice Hassell and grandson Stanley Schmidt. They are together now. She leaves to cherish her memory her sister Beverly Brandon; grandchildren, Carol Walaschuk, Joy Smith (Lorne) great-grandchildren, Dana Budzan (Todd), Mike Smith (Christine), Merry Lee Desousa, Samantha Windsor (David) and great-great-grandchildren, Riley, Benjamin, Joshuah, Adrianna and Sean. Vivian was born May 8, 1902, in Ferguson, B.C. Vivian chose teaching as her career and enjoyed many years teaching on the Queen Charlotte Islands. Teaching was her true niche as everyone who knew her learned from her. Family was very important to her and that is why she returned to Winnipegso she could be near those she treasured most. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 15 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Bedes Anglican Church, 99 Turner Ave. at Mount Royal Road. Our family wishes to thank Golden West Centennial Lodge staff for all their loving care and Deer Lodge Centre staff who cared for her and so often asked about Vivian following her discharge. Vivian placed love in every heart she touched and will be forever missed. We love you forever Gran, "Tata" to her great-grandchildren. Good Morning God You are ushering in another day, untouched and freshly new. So here I come to ask you Lord, if youll renew me too, Forgive the many errors that I made yesterday and let me try again dear God, to walk closer in your way. But Father, I am well aware I cant make it on my own, so take my hand and hold it tight for I cant walk alone. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
